SOLA is the leader organization in cataloguing the repertoire written for stringed instruments by Latin American composers. The SOLA catalogues are free and available to be browsed thanks to partnerships with the  Sphinx Organization and CelloBello.org in the case of the cello catalog.

The Sphinx Catalog of Latin America Violin Works: With more than 1500 entries, this catalog was authored by Dr. Natali Herrera-Pacheco and Dr. Horacio Contreras with the help of many collaborators throughout the world. It is available online through the generous support of the Sphinx Organization.

The Sphinx Catalog of Latin American Cello Works: With more than 2000 entries and published in 2018, this catalog is the first resource of its kind that is available online, exclusively devoted to cello works written by Latin American composers. This catalogue was authored by Dr. Germán Marcano and Dr. Horacio Contreras.

The Sphinx Catalog of Latin America Viola Works: With more than 1000 entries, this catalogue was authored by Simón Bolívar Symphony’s former Principal Violist and Professor of Viola at Stetson University, Dr. Jesús Alfonzo. This resource is available online at our site and also through the generous support of the Sphinx Organization.
